Transparent home-vet pricing

What does a home visit vet cost?

Understand what affects the price of veterinary care at home and what may be included.

The cost of a home visit

A home-vet appointment includes the veterinarian’s travel to your address as well as the consultation itself. The final amount depends on the type of appointment, any medication or tests, and whether additional treatment is needed.

Our current prices are shown on the HomeVet pricing page. We explain likely additional costs before proceeding whenever possible, so you can make an informed decision. If you would like an estimate before booking or before the visit, contact us with details of your pet and the service required. We will provide the clearest estimate we can in advance.

What can affect the final price?

A routine consultation may only require the visit and examination. Vaccines, laboratory tests, medication, certificates or extended procedures are charged according to what your pet needs.

For end-of-life care, the price can also depend on your pet’s size and any aftercare or cremation arrangements. We often help organise cremation pickup when requested.

Common questions

Is a home vet more expensive than a clinic?

A home visit includes travel and the convenience of care at your address. Our fees remain competitive with the rates charged by in-clinic veterinary practices, while also avoiding transport and waiting-room stress.

Are medicines included?

Vaccination appointment prices include the consultation and the relevant vaccination, as shown on our pricing page. Other medication, laboratory work and additional treatment are charged separately when needed.

Can you quote the exact total in advance?

We can explain the known visit fee, but the examination may identify tests or treatment that cannot be predicted beforehand.
