WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

ABOUT US

Vets Heleen and Delphine sitting in a park with dogs at their side

After working in several classic vet structures for many years, we realised there was a need for the convenience of a caring mobile veterinary service in the Amsterdam and Amstelveen region.

We aim to provide a stress-free, friendly and high quality experience to all your 4-legged family members.

If you have anxious, ailing or multiple pets, have limited mobility, a desire to have your animal cared for in a familiar and peaceful surounding, or just have a busy schedule, then we’re the perfect fit for you!

Heleen

My name is Heleen Frensdorf-Kada.

After studying Literature, traveling and working in France, at the age of 26 I decided to go for my girl’s dream, namely to become a vet.

So, early in 2003, I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht, and in the following years I have gained experience in all areas of veterinary medicine, including being a practice owner in the Haarlem region. I have a special interest in internal medicine, dermatologie, nutrition, behavior and I am very open minded about homeopathic and holistic treatments.

One of the special things about being a vet – and what makes is challenging and enjoyable – is the huge variety of animals I meet, with each one needing an individual approach. Plus, of course, the contact with the owner which brings an extra personal dimension.

So it’s really exciting and satisfying to be able to meet the animals in their own environment, and give them the special care they need.

My free time is spent with my family, walking by the sea, playing tennis, cooking with friends, and of course having fun with our dog (Vegas) and two cats (Franky and Binky).

My name is Delphine Vromman-Ural, I am French and Belgian and graduated from the Veterinary School of Liège, Belgium, in 2000.

I love travelling and it gave me the opportunity to work in multiple practices and clinics across England, France, Malta and The Netherlands. My international experience has taught me to adapt to people’s needs and exposed me to different approches of veterinary medicine. Over the years I have developed a special interest in dentistry, behavior and education, and geriatric care.

My priority is to provide a tailored service centered on the well-being of your furry family member. I find communication essential and take pride in giving detailed explanations about your pet’s health.

I have always enjoyed how much my clients appreciate my home visits, and am excited to give my best to them and their pets in familiar surroundings!

I am married with 3 daughters and 2 oriental cats. Outside of work, I enjoy acting and I have featured in many theater plays and a few movies.

Nikos

Hi, my name is Nikos Filos.

I am originally from Greece and I am very lucky to have fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a vet!

I graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2018. After working at clinics in Greece for 5 years, I decided to move to Amsterdam.

I love the Dutch way of living, so when HomeVet gave me the opportunity to pursue the career I love in a beautiful city, I never looked back.

I love being part of the HomeVet team – it gives me the opportunity to spend quality time with our customers and their pets. My priority is to get closer to my customers and their special companions, to really understand their needs, and to provide the personalised service for which HomeVet is known for.

Outside of work, I love to travel and hanging out with friends.
